As many of you probably already have seen over at "Pencil and Spoon" it's time for the first ever "European Beer Blogger Conference". Responsible for the event is Zephyr Adventure, a well known company for arranging conferences like this. "Chief Beer Blogger" - the man in charge at site, is Mark Dredge (the man behind Pencil and Spoon). Hopefully it will be a true international conference with beer blogger and writers from all over Europe. I'm partly involved as responsible for the "Scandinavian Part" of the event arranging for some of the best swedish breweries sponsoring some events at the conference. I will also try to get as many Swedish beer blogger and writers to attend.
I'm pretty sure this will be a conference you don't want to miss out and it's a great opportunity to meet fellow beer bloggers and make some international connections.
For all details regarding the agenda and other information check out "Pencil and Spoon" and the official site "the Beer Bloggers Conference". Register here, right away!

I'm confused about this. Who decided we needed a conference and who put Zephyr Adventure and Mark Dredge in charge?
ReplyDelete@Barm: Don't know really how it happened! I just thought it was an interesting event to meet beer enthusiasts from around Europe. No matter what it's called, would you be interested in meeting like minded people?
ReplyDeleteI'm thrilled about it.
Sorry for missing out your question Will. Things like temperature, carbonation and clean glasses certainly will affect the the taste of a beer.
ReplyDeleteIf a Foster is a bit more gassy or not might not affect the taste that much but it will certainly affect the mouth feeling. I would prefer a lager unfiltered and unpasteurized, if you ask me.
I once did a test on a tasting session, where I served the same beer three times in a row. The first one was served to cold, the second was poured into the glass in the wrong way (no carbonation developed) and the last one had a perfect temperature and was poured perfectly into the glass. No one could guess that it was the same beer. Guess what glass of beer that got the highest score?
Cheers
I think it is a great event to decide a offline marketing promotion. I have always appreciated the activities organized by beer bloggers offline. at the end they have a great knowledge of what the product is and the curious sides of its.
ReplyDeleteAn excellent idea !
